REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PURWOKERTO -- President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Didiek Hartantyo said the punctuality of train journeys is close to 100 percent, earning praise from President Joko Widodo when monitoring the flow of Lebaran 2024 homecoming at Pasar Senen Station.
Didiek said that what President Jokowi said when he visited Pasar Senen Station on Monday (8/4/2024) morning was proud of KAI. President Jokowi considers the Indonesian Railway's service to the community very good.
“That is, our punctuality is close to 100 percent. In Jakarta yesterday the departure was 100 percent, indeed the arrival has some obstacles but it is still above 96 percent,” Didiek said in Purwokerto, Monday (8/4/2024) evening.
According to him, it is one of the added values for the community that in the homecoming transport, KAI maintains safety, comfort, safety, and punctuality.
According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Transportation, rail is the most favorite mode of transportation that will be the choice of people to make their homecoming in 2024. Therefore, PT KAI carried out the 2024 Lebaran Transportation Post on April 5-16 to assure that the Lebaran freight operations can proceed in the best possible way.
